Artist: BALLETTO DI BRONZO, IL
Title: On The Road To YS
Format: LP
Label: AMS
Country: Italy
Price: $36.00
"First time ever vinyl release of two extraordinary documents, dated 1971, by the legendary Balletto di Bronzo. On the Road to YS, is a landmark in Balletto di Bronzos history, because it is the demo recording made by the band in 1971 at Phonogram studios Milan, featuring the embryonic versions of two songs that would later be merged into YS (Introduzione and Secondo Incontro), with English vocals, and arrangements that are quite different than the final tracks. However, these demos will convince Phonogram to offer the band a record deal. In 1972 they released YS. The rest is history. Taken from master tapes, and remastered by Gianni Leone and Nicola di Gia in 2010. Also featuring a bonus track: an unreleased live version of La tua casa comoda." - AMS.

Artist: DEDALUS
Title: S/T
Format: LP
Label: AMS
Country: Italy
Price: $36.00
"One of the most experimental bands of the Italian prog scene, Dedalus were founded at the beginning of the 70s by Michele Bonansone (keyboards, cello, vocals) and Marco Di Castri (guitar, saxophone) in Pinerolo, near Turin. Their first eponymous LP consists of instrumental jazz-rock compositions, influenced by artists like Nucleus, Miles Davis, Soft Machine, Stockhausen and many other musical innovators of the time. Dedalus was originally released in 1973, and in the same year the band took part at the Avantgarde and New Trends Festival in Naples, being pointed as the real revelation of the event. The album, enclosed in one of the most peculiar Italian prog artworks by Cesare Monti, already contains some of the avant-garde hints which would be fully developed in the following Materiale Per Tre Esecutori E Nastro Magnetico. Available as black audiophile 180gr. vinyl. Housed in a full-color gatefold sleeve." -AMS

Title: Buio Omega: The Complete Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Format: LP
Label: AMS
Country: Italy
Price: $36.00
"Buio Omega, two short and simple words that, in the mind of Goblins fans as well as in the horror/splatter movies fanatics one, recall sounds and images of a legendary film. Directed in 1979 by Joe DAmato, it still impresses with the rawness and morbidity of its scenes, the trademark of a director who, much more than others, befits the term extreme. The soundtrack of the film, whose main ingredients are keyboards and synthesizers, swings among echoes of Alan Parsons Project, funk/fusion and melancholic atmospheres. It was never officially published when the film came out, and was finally released on CD by Cinevox Record in 1997 (CDMDF 304) and again in 2008 (CD MDF 631) with two completely different tracklists. Goblin here appear in an atypical shape, with Massimo Morante (guitar) and Claudio Simonetti (keyboards) replaced by Carlo Pennisi and Maurizio Guarini respectively, completing the line-up along with Fabio Pignatelli (bass) and Augustin Marangolo (drums). Buio Omega is pressed on vinyl today for the first time ever, a release awaited for years by Goblin fans. The LP is housed in a beautiful gatefold cover showing inside recording sessions photos and promotional flyers/postcards. The tracklist is that of the first 1997 CD edition." - AMS.

Title: Roller
Format: LP
Label: AMS
Country: Italy
Price: $36.00
"Roller was the second record for Goblin, originally released in 1976, just after the successful score of Profondo Rosso, and is one of the very few Goblin records that was not intended to be a soundtrack. By many considered their best effort, in Roller the band develops their dark, hypnotic and totally instrumental sound, but with an always vivacious and dynamic edge. The record also features new members Agostino Marangolo (from Flea) and Massimo Guarini. 180 gram vinyl. Gatefold sleeve." - AMS

Artist: NASCITA DELLA SFERA
Title: Per Una Scultura Diceschia
Format: LP
Label: AMS
Country: USA
Price: $35.00
"Nascita della Sfera was a group of session musicians assembled by a composer to record a single LP, in this case composer and keyboardist Carlo Barbiera dedicated a full album to the life and works of sculptor Luciano Ceschia (1926-1991), both coming from near Udine, Friuli VeneziaGiulia, in the north-east of Italy. The rare album is a rather original example of experimental electro-acoustic progressive style, mainly based on synth effects and acoustic guitars and often reminding some of Battiatos early works. Despite the presence of five singers in the line-up, the vocal parts are short, spoken rather than sung. 19 tracks are listed on the cover, but these are connected to form two long suites. All in all an interesting album for the adventurous listeners in search of something different. 180 gram vinyl. Gatefold sleeve." -AMS
