Artist: BEDLAM
Title: Demos Anthology 1968-70 (The Cozy Powell Beginnings)
Format: LP
Label: Acid Nightmare
Country: UK
Price: $31.00
"Bedlam and its earlier incarnations (Ideal Milk, Big Bertha, etc.) were a hotbed for launching the career of superstar drummer Cozy Powell (RIP), who later played with such major Hard Rock acts as Whitesnake, Rainbow, and Black Sabbath. In this earlier stage, we can hear the fantastic guitar playing of Dave Ball very influenced by Cream/Clapton, his brother Denny on bass and Cozy on drums. In fact this early incarnation of Bedlam called Ideal Milk was almost a tribute to Cream. Moving on later, singer Ace Kefford enters the picture for a short stint with the band where they change the band name to Ace Kefford Stand. Ace was the ex-bass player of the Move. The B-side of the record has the Big Bertha demos which had different singers including Denny Ball which also sang on Ideal Milk. The style is still similar to Cream/Jeff Beck Group, sometimes with an heavier edge predicting what was going to come after 2 years (meanwhile Cozy was with The Jeff Beck Group and Dave Ball joined Procol Harum). Reissue limited to 400 copies with insert that includes detailed song liner notes written by Denny Ball and rare pics. Remastered from the master tapes for best sound quality possible." -Acid Nightmare.

Artist: JERICHO
Title: S/T
Format: LP
Label: Acid Nightmare
Country: UK
Price: $29.00
"Israels rock stars number one, Jericho were previously known both as Churchills and Jericho Jones, recording excellent albums under these names in the late 60s and early 70s. In 1972 and now as Jericho alone, they released this last album with five songs of pure progressive heavy rock with some psych overtones. This album stands tall in the gallery of 70s underground heavy rock with incendiary guitar work and a powerful vocal delivery. Sure to please fans of Dust, Mayblitz, Fuzzy Duck, Sir Lord Baltimore, Toad, The Dark, etc. 500 copies reissue." -Acid Nightmare

Artist: LEGEND
Title: From the Fjords
Format: LP
Label: Acid Nightmare
Country: UK
Price: $31.00
"1979 progressive heavy rock masterpiece that set the flame for the epic metal genre a few years later. Connecticuts Legend had their record released as a private pressing of a mere 500 copies, which now changes hands for $700 and more. Over the last 15 years and specially due to the internet share of information on underground cult gems, this monster grew and grew in popularity and price. This power-trio shared their love for Sabbath/Heep/Rush and others of the genre, but also fusion rock like Mahavishnu Orchestra. Their imaginary revolved around epic fantasy, especially Viking mythology. Legend was a power trio, full of great musical ideas and concepts that unfortunately didnt had a place in a 1979 garbage filled music industry. The band ended up in 1980 and changed name to Mercenary which only released a single in 1981. Acid Nightmare proudly releases this heavy/prog classic on a limited edition of 400 copies with lyrics insert. Do not miss this. If you still dont know Legend, youre playing in the wrong league." -Acid Nightmare.
