Title: Live At Lace
Format: CD
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $13.00
"Reissue of this scarce LAFMS title in digipack, limited to 500 copies. This album was originally recorded and released as an LP in 1978; Airway was a group featuring Joe Potts, Chip Chapman, Rick Potts, Dennis Duck, Juan Gomez and Tom Recchion. Live At Lacewas later included in the Cortical Foundation/RRR 10CD LAFMS box from 1995, but this version has been remastered, using the original tapes for the LP. It is considered to exhibit a "pretty different feeling of sound" and features unique artwork that was only used on Japanese-export copies of the LP when it was first released." - FE. Crucial early-noise document from the Los Angeles Free Music Society heyday. "AIRWAY is a brainchild of Joe Potts. Here are COMMANDMENTS OF AIRWAY: AIRWAY is a hole through which our conscious passes. Sound of AIRWAY is not an object. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed location. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed location. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed meaning. Sound of AIRWAY has no dimensions. Meaning and dimensions of AIRWAY sound constantly change in relation to the universe inside and outside listeners. Sound of AIRWAY has no fixed time. The "flow of time" in AIRWAY sound is psychological not physical. Sound of AIRWAY is a representation of the whole of sound existing inside and outside us. Because all sound of AIRWAY is interrelated, there is no such thing as innovative sound at AIRWAY performance. Sound of AIRWAY is an unfolded manifestation of hidden (enfolded) universe, consisting of all sound which will ever exist and has ever consisted inside and outside us." "The monster is back in its original nature! Human synthesizers!! Hijokaidan in its early days was heavily under its influence. Definitly a must for everyone in this era!" -Toshiji Mikawa (Hijokaidan/Incapacitants ).

Title: My Descent Into Capital
Format: CD
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
“My Descent into Capital represents the most ambitious recording to date from London-based duoCircuit Breaker. Even if theyre taking influence from minimal synth, post-punk, or early industrial sides, Circuit Breaker are unmistakably contemporary with their delivery, forging together metallic drum machines, propulsive synth lines, and stark guitar-degradation into bold, simple, and effective songs about downtrodden themes of isolation, discontentment, and the true horror of work. This album transgresses any simple nostalgia for its musical forefathers and showcases a band with their eyes fixed firmly on the future. Any obvious reference points are contorted and stretched to the point where they are transformed into something new. After ten years of obscurity since 2005 and a refusal to go away, and after two well-received releases on Tombed Visions, this is their first full-length album, and their first release on abstract-punk imprint Harbinger Sound; the album follows shows with Harbinger Sound mainstays Sleaford Mods and precedes an extensive tour with Consumer Electronics (2015 additions to Harbinger Sound). Mastered by Barry Grint at Alchemy.” - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Dollhouse Sounds
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $26.00
"Punk/electro/techno-noise trio Consumer Electronics return with their studio album Dollhouse Songs, following 2014s acclaimed Estuary English album and 2015s Repetition Reinforcement 12" on Diagonal (DIAG 019EP). Housed in a sleeve featuring stunning cover artwork by Tokyo-based artist Trevor Brown (creator of the iconic cover art for Whitehouses Halogen (DPROM 109LP, 1994) and Quality Time (1995), among others), Dollhouse Songs further chronicles frontman Philip Bests trawl through the seedy thoroughfares of crumbling Tory Britain. "Learn your fucking place," sneers Best, in trademark style, aping the austerity-mongers of Britains right-wing junta. Ably assisted on dark cracked electronics by Sarah Froelich and stunningly produced by noise/beat guru Russell Haswell, this installment in CEs state-of-the-nation polemics features seven studio tracks: "History of Sleepwalking," "Knives Cut," "Condition of a Hole," "Nothing Natural," "The Push," "Colour Climax," and "Murder Your Masters" (which surfaced briefly in 2015 as an ultra-rare tour-only 7" split with Sleaford Mods). CE now features a twin vocal attack from the Best/Froelich husband-and-wife team, with a furious tide of words spat out over a chaotic spew of mangled beats, bracing synths, and state-of-the-art noise generation. This is their most personal and political album yet. Mastered by Matt Colton at Alchemy for maximum effect. Includes inner sleeve featuring all the lyrics." - Harbinger Sound.

"The Curfew Recordings were made at a disused industrial site on the river Tyne in 1984 and feature John Smith (then publisher of Interchange magazine), Sean Dower (ex Death Magazine 52 & later of Bow Gamelan Ensemble) and John Mylotte (of the band Metgumbnerbone). The recordings were made inside a 10m tall and 26m wide, steel-plated cylindrical, structure, once used for bitumen storage. The instrumentation is acoustic and the recordings are unprocessed (the space however adds a remarkable reverb). Instrumentation included: bull roarers, spirit whistles, human thy-bone trumpet, chimes, pipes, gongs, flutes, drums, projectiles, scraped and bowed objects and other materials (glass, metal, bones and wood). This is the first digital transfer of the original tapes to become available." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: S/T
Format: Double LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $30.00
"Between 1982 and 1984 Death Magazine 52 played around 20 shows mostly within the Black Country region of the U.K. Sometimes they played under the name Spontaneous Human Combustion which was the moniker they originally started out with. These recordings capture the core group and its floating membership at various stages of their existence. Recordings from the studio sessions and live sets, including playing to a school hall full of teenage girls at 3pm one afternoon, and as the final band to play at the legendary Equinox Event before the plugs got pulled and the police arrived. The recordings are of a raw nature and should be considered as historical documentation. Features a pre-Con-Dom Mike Dando on 2/3s of the material, guest vocalist spot from Philip Best. The full DM52 story will be featured in As Loud As Possible #2." - Harbinger Sound.

Artist: DEBT OF NATURE
Title: Order : Spoil the Entire State
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $19.00
"An album of incredible archival recordings by Brad Laner and Jim Goodalls 1980s  noise orchestra. Featuring many other LAFMS superstars such as Rick Potts and Joseph Hammer , along with several unknown secret San Fernando Valley noise geniuses. An albums worth of epic spontaneous compositions created with tape recorders, short wave radios, cheap synths, random orchestral instruments and circuit bent gear and all unleashed in front of an unsuspecting audience.

"...we opened for WALL OF VOODOO and successfully pissed off 1000 screaming New Wave assholes"

Starting out back in August 1981 as Brad Laners solo project and self-confessed "pretentious art phase". It wasnt long before he started bringing friends , most notably Jim Goodall and Spencer Savage, and other players in and over the following years DEBT OF NATURE would expand into a much larger ensemble. Its those larger ensembles that are captured on this album with live recordings caught throughout the bands final two years. These tracks were originally programmed with a four 7" boxset in mind, but the flow of the pieces works just as well on the 12" format here.

Even though they only released a small number of cassettes throughout their lifespan, mostly on ARPH and Laners own Party Sound Tapes label. They appeared on numerous seminal Noise and Punk crossover compilations that emitted from Californias west coast on labels such as the Minutemens New Alliance imprint, New Underground, and Trance Port. Later other work appeared on Anomalous Records.Over the five to six years they existed the band played many shows throughout Los Angeles and up into the Bay Area.

DEBT OF NATURE is the starting block for both Laner and Goodalls musical trajectory that has now spanned three decades and taken in many points along the way. Both players recently resurfaced with a reformed MEDICINE , a band they formed who released material via Creation Records and Rick Rubins American Recordings. Prior to that they could be found alongside LAFMS mainstay Rick Potts and others in the STEAMING COILS. Laner was also a major player in FOURWAYCROSS and could be found at times in SAVAGE REPUBLIC, NERVOUS GENDER and many others.Jim Goodall would record for a number of years under the alias of D.D.DOBSON  and his violent electronic works can be found on numerous experimental noise labels. He also played as a member of WHITEHOUSE during their comeback tour of the USA during 1993.

Brad Laner was also a major contributor to the legendary experimental music magazine UNSOUND which will be the subject of an extensive  feature in the forthcoming As Loud As Possible #2 magazine. A second DEBT OF NATURE album capturing the bands earlier years is scheduled for release on Harbinger Sound sometime too." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Want Some Of This?
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $20.00
"Harbinger Sound have been sitting for a long while now on a super-limited run of an LP recorded by my juvenille early 80s band ESP Kinetic. They’ve just told me the LPs are pressed, but awaiting “release” from the pressing plant, so perhaps these things will see the light of day this summer some time. No hurry, I suppose – some of this has waited nearly 30 years, so what are a few more months, eh? And what of the content of the LP? It’s called ”Want some of this?” (you don’t have to answer that question), it has a side of home recordings by myself and Andy Watson, recorded 1982-83, then another side of live chaos from 1984-85, where we were sometimes joined by our pals Dougie Smyth and John Larmour. It’s surprisingly varied... the LP continues in a fairly diverse way in varying grades lo/no-fidelity, including one longer track that appeared on Cause for Concern’s “Awareness is paranoia” compilation tape." – Neil Campbell, 2011.

Title: Decal Baby
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $23.00
“Decal Baby is a compilation featuring a selection of cuts from Leicesters Fish From Tahiti. The songs were recorded at the start of the 2000s and originally released on numerous 7"s by FFTs Dave Dixey on his own Sorted Records label. This set also contains a number of unreleased tracks recorded during the same period, including the unreleased fifth single. All the tracks feature FFTs trademark lo-fi sound of crazed loops and snatched samples all thrown together to create a drunken hypnotic haze. At times it is almost dubish, at others it ventures deeper into abstract experimental areas. Given Dave Dixeys career starting out in the late-70s with Fuck Off Records artists Anthrax For The People, running the legendary Alternative Capitalists cassette label and decades of promoting weirdness in Leicester,Decal Baby is a worthy salute to a forgotten group and your chance to catch up. Housed in a full color sleeve designed by the original Sorted Records graphics man -- Steve Lippert -- using images from the groups archives. Lippert has also designed covers for Vinyl-on-Demand, Harbinger Sound and Black Sabbath! An edition of 500 copies.” - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Trace
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $22.00
"Phil Julian is a UK-based sound artist, composer, and improviser active since the late 1990s, with a prolific output under both his Cheapmachines alias and his own name. His work encompasses sonic textures ranging from harsh squalls of noise to hyper-minimalistic timbres and drones. Studio recordings and live performances within Europe and North America have focused on the use of electronics, particularly unstable and/or chaotic systems, e.g. modular synthesizers, feedback, contact microphones, objects and surfaces, and computer-based works. Julian recorded TRACE at Elektronmusikstudion in Stockholm during his Guest Composer residency in 2013. Using a combination of EMSs vintage analog equipment and various computer processes, Julian recorded and mixed the material on TRACE specifically for diffusion over the Audiorama 17.4 surround sound system, custom built and installed inside the decommissioned torpedo workshop on Stockholms island of Skeppsholmen. "Open Form," which takes up the A side of the release, is made up of much shorter pieces recorded over the two week residency. "Corona" is an improvised piece using only analog electronics and "Arrival" uses a custom computer patch alongside a complex set of processes running on the huge EMS Buchla synthesizer. The recordings combine the dynamics and space associated with modern composition and electroacoustic works with the density and abrasive qualities more often encountered in noise and contemporary computer music. Sleeve photography by Eddie Nuttall. Mastered by Joe Panzner." - Harbinger Sound.

"Stuttgarts Karies produce four new tracks of that brooding, but driving post-punk sound theyre known for throughout Germany. Even though the material may reference the likes of Die Haut and Abwärts, and even touching on The Wipers at points, Karies constantly reframe that sound and keep it very much retro-free. These are the last group recordings to feature Kevin Kuhn who had to go fulltime with his other band, Die Nerven. This UK edition comes housed in a gorgeous gatefold sleeve and is limited to 300 copies on Harbinger Sound." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Personal Space
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $25.00
"The second album from UK hardcore engine The Lowest Form, Personal Space sees the band cutting through a comedown fug of feedback, sharp butterfly-knife guitars flashing deadly over a waste-ground rubble of noise. Songs drawn up from discord, songs of marshalled cacophony, coils of scratching guitars break apart and reform, coalescing around insistent basslines and heavy drum-beats, before splintering again. Its hardcore constructed from textured noise as much as from break-downs and riffs, rumbling infectious chants emerging from the wavering clamour, the vile keening of consciousnesss half-known edges, noise in the grain of it all, noise as bedrock, an abrasive acid bath of fuzz, susurration and machine-whirr. The Lowest Form have brought together another LP of murdered-out panic attack punk, lithe and unleashed, born of bad vibes and background radiation, an album at once uncomfortably close and fully heavy." - Joe Briggs.

Title: Suri Gruti
Format: 10"
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $16.00
"Geneva quartet take a side step into expanding their signature sound as captured on their previous Morse album (2015). Suri Gruti features two extensive side-long pieces created whilst sound tracking Man Ray movies. The sharp minimal post punk riffs and drums are still hypnotically repetitive whilst the band still bursts with that frantic energy that sounds like its straining to contain itself. Like a contemporary meeting between the likes of The Ex and Kleenex without any whiff of nostalgia. Suri Gruti contains that collision point. Edition of 300.” - Harbinger Sound.

Artist: OLYMPIC SHIT MAN
Title: Supercharge
Format: Double LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $30.00
"As all Mother Savage tapes begin their transubstantiation into the new holy relics of Noise, one seldom-heard act still stands at a comfortable distance from the rest of the roster. A collaboration between Andy Bolus (Evil Moisture) and Mark Durgan (Putrefier), Olympic Shit Man divorced itself from the ultra-saturated, no-mind quest for pure filth by combining velocity and density while compromising neither. Most cut-up noise of the time buzzed your ears like a Stuka, uncatchable but lacking heft, while the harshest acts demolished all, but maneuvered like a tank in winter. Boluss EMS synth blurts and Durgans tactile junk scrapes capture the full spectrum of frequencies, while the pairs tape splicing strategies create asymmetric constructions that rattle around the room like a washer with an unbalanced spin cycle. As with the collaborations between Evil Moisture and Macronympha (The Tentacles of the Octopus Sometimes Compete Against One Another), Mlehst and Macronympha (Macrosonic), and Ruzensturn & Gurgelstock and Masonna (Arschloch-Onna), Olympic Shit Man is ferocious yet fleet, vibrant yet filthy, jaw-clenching yet hilarious. This vinyl reissue trisects the original cassette content into three 20 minute sides of vinyl, giving you an extra index point with which to process the mayhem. Side four includes two unreleased live tracks from 1994 and 2006, the first a fizzy, spastic sugar rush, the second a cascade of synth and toy squiggles that curlicue onto a wide canvas. Wrapped in a full-color jacket and including a 24-page Bolus comic book, Supercharge accomplishes what all reissues should: it doesnt just narrate epic battles of the past, it reintroduces all-but-forgotten combat tactics to a new generation of aural guerillas." - Harbinger Sound. Originally released on Mother Savage Noise Productions (Macronympha) in 1995. Edition of 250 copies.

Title: Hypertension Classics, Vol 2
Format: 4CD Box Set
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $32.00
"Putrefier aka Mark Durgan has been an active member, albeit below the radar, of the U.K. noise scene since the inception of Putrefier back in 1986. Firstly, starting with his own Birthbiter label which as well as cassettes also was one of the first distribution services to start importing ZSF, Selektion and many Japanese oddities into the UK.  Keeping a low-profile has enabled Putrefier to work at his own pace and keeping to his own vision. Throughout the last twenty years records and cassettes have been limited but this latest release should be the start of a fresh outburst of activity. His recordings have turned up on labels such as Broken Flag, Artware, MSBR, RRR and more. This boxset though is the latest release on Harbinger Sound a label with whom he has had a working relationship with now for many years. It features the long out-of-print "Hypertension Classics" double 7" which was sold at shows in japan during the year 1999 only, plus over four hours worth of quality recordings dating back to 1996 but with most constructed during the 1999 - 2001 years. If you want pointers think of the possibilities of good Voice Crack,  the INA-GRM extremities & "Crash for Hi-Fi" -era Merzbow being dropped into a pinball machine ! Yes, it is that good !   After many shows alongside the likes of Ramleh, The New Blockaders, Merzbow, Pain Jerk, Incapacitants, MSBR, Thirdorgan, Emil Beaulieau. Morphogenesis, Schimpfluch Gruppe / R&G, and many others , Putrefier should be embarking on an East Coast tour of the USA during April 2006 alongside Smell & Quim, Onomatopoeia & Deepkiss 720." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Austerity Dogs
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $24.00
"Proper working class music with an edge and a vitality, a wit and wisdom all of its own. Something that those stuck in a hopeless job can relate to and use as inspiration, something to shove right up the gaffers arsehole.
Jason Williamson writes the lyrics, Andrew Fearn mans the lap top, the pair of them share vocals with Williamson getting the lions share. Its a simple set up stripped to the basics, a hammering bass riff coupled to a series of rapid programmed beats. Its all you need. Everything is in the delivery though, lines are delivered in the northern vernacular, each line spat out in rapid succession, each song starts and ends the same, once the bass loop is there it pummels away until the song ends and then in a split second the next one takes its place. Fearn chips in with the odd line, theres the odd three note keyboard solo to fill in the gaps and thats about it.
Twelve tracks in all, each one destined for greatness. Urine Mate, Welcome To The Club sets the tone with a rap intro by local Forest lad John Paul that mentions the the cunts in the armed labelled coats, looking at me like they want to slit my fucking throat … anyway Im enjoying mesen before it all kicks off with the single word Spectre which will mean absolutely nothing to anybody living outside Britain, there are no apologies to those who can not unravel the inner workings of the northern working class language, this is as raw as its possible to get, no concessions are made, its one of their greatest strengths.
By now Im trying to think of comparisons, maybe the delivery of John Cooper Clarke, Steve Ignorant, Ian Dury, the pumping bass riffs of The Fall, the cheap synth beats of The Normal [as heard on Five Pound Sixty] but its the richness of the lyrics which linger. Some of it makes no sense at all, stream of consciousness, words repeated, wobble, wobble, wobble I dont like puddings…" - Idwal Fisher.

"Sleaford Mods started out sometime during 2006 while Jason Williamson was living in Nottingham. Born out of part frustration and part accident, it quickly found its feet as an aggressive verbal onslaught on all that is contrived and connected to the day-to-day hammer of low paid employment and domestic situations arising from that trap. After a year of working ideas out in both the studio and in live performance around Nottingham, Williamson moved south and took the cause to London for a couple of years, before returning to Nottingham in 2009. Soon after that he met Andrew Fearn and the Sleaford Mods became a duo. Fearns first work was on the production of Wank -- the Mods fifth CD-R album. Soon after, he started stalking the studio and stage with Williamson. Just after the release of Wank, the duo were invited to play a three-day festival curated by Nottinghams Rammel Club. During that weekend they were introduced to the Harbinger Sound label. A meeting which -- a year later -- resulted in the release of Austerity Dogs. Numerous shows around the UK and Europe followed, including further festival appearances. Rave reviews of the album have appeared in magazines as diverse as The Wire and Uncut, along with interviews being published both on paper and on the internet, both here and abroad. With more international dates on the horizon including excursions to Poland and Sweden, the interest in the Mods continues to spread." - Harbinger Sound.

"Divide and Exit sees Sleaford Mods once again released on the elusive Nottingham-based low-profile Harbinger Sound label. Divide and Exit contains 14 new tracks all written over the last 12 months and the result is as immediately in-your-face as its vicious predecessor. While Fearns beats and loops will pull you up into the urgency of Sleaford Mods, they also allow you to run the gauntlet from deliberate clumsy dancefloor swaggers to full-on punk throwabouts with them. Williamson is let free to spit out his unempathetic litany of bile and anger towards the bloated and tedious." - Harbinger Sound.

"Divide and Exit sees Sleaford Mods once again released on the elusive Nottingham-based low-profile Harbinger Sound label. Once dismissed around their native Nottingham as "two skip rats with a laptop," the last 12 months has seen the Sleaford Mods simply knock all their distractors clear out of the way. The mounting hysteria surrounding their 2013 album Austerity Dogs (HARB 106CD/LP) has spread like chlamydia at a teenage house party and saw them topping many "End of Year" lists worldwide. Along with a handful of limited 7" releases on labels as diverse as Matador and X-Mist, plus an extensive European touring program have all helped to solidify their growing reputation as "ones to watch ." The Sleaford Mods duo of Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn have also been busy throughout the year working on this follow-up album. Divide and Exit contains 14 new tracks all written over the last 12 months and the result is as immediately in your face as its vicious predecessor. While Fearns beats and loops will pull you up into the urgency of Sleaford Mods, they also allow you to run the gauntlet from deliberate, clumsy dancefloor swaggers to full-on punk throwabouts with them. Williamson is let free to spit out his litany of bile and anger towards the bloated and tedious. His verbal salvos and side-swipes are often savage and brutal, yet at turns, hilarious, but always spot-on as Sleaford Mods rage and despair as the country sinks deeper into a cesspool of its own idiocy. Its an album that doesnt have the privilege of luxury, indulgence or extravaganza and it will strike a resonant chord with many because it simply refuses to compromise. Many critics have attempted to tag and align the Sleaford Mods with other artists and have done little other than to advertise their own shortcomings and lack of knowledge. If you need a pointer, try and imagine an East Midlands take on Suicide that survived rave culture and looked to the Wu-Tang Clan for the escape hatch. The down-to-earth observations and story-telling of Ian Dury or Patrik Fitzgerald are maybe closer than any other names flung about in desperation. If you wish to tag and place Sleaford Mods, youre only limiting yourself." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: Key Markets
Format: CD
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
“Nottingham duo Sleaford Mods present third "proper" album, Key Markets. "Key Markets was a large supermarket bang in the centre of Grantham from the early 1970s up until around 1980," explains Jason Williamson. "My mum would take me there and Id always have a large Coke in a plastic orange cup surrounded by varnished wood trimmings and big lamp shades with flowers on them. Beige bricks with bright yellow points of sale and large black foam letters surrounded you and this is why we called the album Key Markets. Its the continuation of the day to day and how we see it, the un-incredible landscape." "The album was recorded in various periods between summer 2014 through to October of that year. We worked fast as we normally do, the method was the same as the other albums and like the other two, the sound has naturally moved itself along. Key Markets is in places quite abstract but it still deals heavily with the disorientation of modern existence. It still touches on character assassination, the delusion of grandeur and the pointlessness of government politics. Its a classic. Fuck em." Housed in a gatefold sleeve designed by Steve Lippert; mastered by Matt Colton at Alchemy. Everything else was done by Sleaford Mods. Sleaford Mods are Jason Williamson: words; Andrew Fearn: music.” - Harbinger Sound.

Format: Double CD
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $17.50
"This double CD set is a limited edition of #500 copies housed in a jewel case. The sleeve features photographs and a potted history of the group. The foldout insert features text, reviews, lyrics and drawings connected with the groups short history. The material on the first disc is taken from both ultra-scarce 7" Eps and the "Transformational Salt" album, whilst the second disc holds two live sets including the last ever show they did in 1981. This is an official releases done with the assistance of the band. This Australian group hold that much coverted legendary status with collectors of oddball DIY activity. It will catch the ears of those who can embrace abstract punk sounds or industrial harshness. To be filed alongside The Homosexuals, The Desperate Bicycles, The Instant Automatons, The Prats, Door and the Window, The Versatile Newts, etc etc. Avant / Post -punk madness that leave you scratching your skull . Noise historians will wonder over the use of Manson references, Burroughs samples and Anti-art manifestos way before the Industrial boys tried to claim them as their own." - Harbingersound. "...noiser and more abrasive than most first generation industrial stuff, a hell of a lot more punk than, say, The Lewd and intelligent in a scary, vicious bullying kind of way" - Johan Kugelberg, Ugly Things Magazine. Very highly recommended!

Title: Pigs for Lepers
Format: CD
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $17.00
"CD reissue of great 1982 LP includes extra material. Limited to 500 copies. "Pigs For Lepers was Smegmas second longplayer, originally  the seventh release on their own Pigface Records imprint back in 1982. This CD is a limited reissue and is U.K. label Harbinger Sounds first shot in an attempt to coherently catalogue Smegmas wayward non-career. The cover features the original picture that was thought in bad taste and upset local printers, as part of an 8 page colour booklet that also includes artwork and photographs from the Smegma archives. An extra track too - Mutant Baby - recorded live in 1979 and featured on an obscure Trap Records compilation from years back. The actual Pigs... recordings span 1962 right up to 1982. This is an excellent introduction to the world of Smegma - a band whose influence has slowly seeped everywhere over the past few decades - ask Nurse With Wound, Wolf Eyes, Merzbow or any of the New Weird America crowd whom would give anything to be as weird as Smegma! To parrot writer Richard Meltzer, youll never hear sound the same way again." -Harbinger Sound

Title: Sins of Omission
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $24.00
"Given two sides of untitled vinyl to stretch out on, the enigmatic Spoils & Relics lay out their wares for all to see. Here we have shortwave trawls picking up single, impossible-to-translate words, slight squeaks, wheezes and heaves, sounds of budgie cages being shaken in empty houses, lo-fi electronic squawk, bottles being kicked around a stone floor, parps culled from small boxes with switches on them, electro-acoustic dub, dried peas rattling around a tin, a mass beetle exodus ... or none of the above. The mood in places is austere, in others noisy, in some contemplative. This is their third release on Harbinger Sound -- after sharing one side of a split LP with BRB/Voicemail and having a single all to themselves, theyve finally got the LP they deserve. Working in ever darker and harder-to-define corners means Spoils & Relics are refining their craft, making their outings a greater pleasure each time." - Harbinger Sound.

"Early destructive outbursts by JOKE LENZ (SUDDEN INFANT) and RUDOLF EB.ER (RUNZELSTIRN UND GURGELSTOCK). Previously released on cassette (Schimpfluch 1989), this fusion of "audio snippets, moments of eerie keyboard hypnosis, cartoon effects, amplified body sounds, animals, song, etc., into dense jump-cutting compositions," note our friends at Volcanic Tongue, comes across "as the aural equivalent of tuning across radio frequencies, occasionally settling on sources for long seconds before exploding into life and activity. The set has some of the constant content-exploding power of classic noise ... while turning the incessant sensory / information bombardment into an eviscerated form that ... empt[ies] it of meaning and re-birth[s] it as a form of pure sensory wuh."" -Harbinger Sound.

Title: More Singles

Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $28.00
"Another 18 tracks taken from Mark Wynns vast archives. More Singles follows the success of the previous volume (HARB 158LP, 2016) and his acclaimed support slots following Sleaford Mods around Europe. Harbinger Sound once again digs deep into the vaults and pulls out a selection of tunes that previously appeared on self-released CDrs over the last couple of years. No-one is safe from Marks wit, not even himself. Recommended for fans of Ian Dury, Sleaford Mods, The Fall, JCC, Patrik Fitzgerald, John Otway & Wild Willy Barrett. First pressing comes with a 20-page, A4 booklet featuring Marks musings on life, the toilet gig circuit, and many other things. Edition of 1000." - Harbinger Sound.

Title: The Singles
Format: LP
Label: Harbinger Sound
Country: UK
Price: $26.00
“After having the NME announce him as "one to watch for 2015" Mark Wynn promptly quit music. Harbinger Sound spent the summer coaxing him out from early retirement and the result is "The Singles" album. A compilation of 18 tracks culled from two years worth of limited self-released CDs. Wynns scattershot avant-skank acoustic gobshitting blends despair, bleakness and humour. It then pulls apart any worthless comparisions to The Fall, Wreckless Eric, Patrik Fitzgerald, etc with his irreverent, awkward but smart lo-fi songs. After spending the autumn touring with the Sleaford Mods, Wynn is now back in the game as one to watch for 2016. This album features such classics as "Rip Off The Fall" and "She Fancies Me That One In Age Concern". The album contains a 20-page A4 booklet featuring text, flyers and artwork. An edition of 500 copies.” - Harbinger Sound.
"The same grey fucking cloud that followed me now hangs above him. Hes got it!" - Jason Williamson / Sleaford Mods.
