Artist: CABALLO TRIPODE
Title: Horror Vacui
Format: LP
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $15.00
"Debut record from Valencia, Spains obscure CABALLO TRIPODE, a project formed and recorded during a hiatus by LE JONATHAN REILLY members about two years ago, and now a fully functioning band alongside LJR. Caballo Tripodes debut LP is an exercise in contrasting rustic-Spanish-folk and garage rock with deliberately futuristic chaos, time issues, and other various "unexpected choices" of all shapes and colors. A homespun psychedelic result with a wildness similar to Meercazs spacey rockscapes. Here we have songs that position themselves on a garage and surf backdrop only to depart right into a much deeper bag of tricks. All this while theyve kept one foot down on their romantic sensibilities, regional (Valencia, Spain) vibes and good ole crunchy guitars. So it never floats off into outer space either. A very unique and regional take on what "garage" and "surf" record can actually become in a post-garage and surf world that rarely attempts honest retooling efforts in their old shops." - Tic Tac Totally.

Artist: FERGUS & GERONIMO
Title: Blind Muslim Girl
Format: 7"
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $6.00
"Denton white-man-soul/pop duo featuring JASON KELLY (WAX MUSEUMS) and ANDREW SAVAGE (TEENAGE COOL KIDS). In FERGUS & GERONIMO, the WM lo-fi recording aesthetic is alive and well to be sure, but dont expect any songs about "jack off rats" here. Just Blind Muslim Girls! A casual project, but the band cites a serious well of inspiration including southern soul, 60s pop, psychedelic and Motown influences as the kick behind Fergus & Geronimos sound." -Tic Tac Totally

Artist: GIRLS AT DAWN
Title: Back To You
Format: 7"
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $7.00
"New single from the GIRLS AT DAWN features two new tunes, "Back To You" and "WCK" on the flip.  "Back to You" is a skittish angle on their usual "fragile girl group" sounds. It still has the carefree, roaming verse and delivers those girl group harmonies, but eventually heads into a fractured, upbeat chorus with a guitar line that weirdly, lightly stabs home the repeated "gotta get back to you". The flip, "WCK" is a totally carefree example of the harmonic melodies but played shambolic as hell and soaked in buzzsaw-bass from top to bottom. TGAD separates themselves from so many other "oh lets do a girl band" bands in that they are at once playing the roles of "super delicate" and "carefree & dark" (even a bit twisted in moments). Previous 7-inches on Captured Tracks and HoZac." -Tic Tac Totally

Artist: LENGUAS LARGAS
Title: I Fee
Format: 7"
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $5.00
"Debut 7".  Lenguas Largas employ cold, minimal, post-punk stylistic leanings and tosses them through everything in the kitchen sink to arrive at its unique sound. 3 tracks.  "I Feel" is a real killer, but its all solid." -Tic Tac Totally.

Artist: MEERCAZ
Title: S/T
Format: LP
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $18.00
"("OLD SCHOOL" TIP-ON JACKET w/ INSERT) Debut LP from Muslim Delgados (Leaders) Meercaz. This is Muzzs post-Leaders solo effort with assistance from Sarah Epstein (Hunches), Kyle Raquipiso (Meth Teeth), Clay Silva, and many other contributors. "The approach is primitive but spacey, simultaneously "retro" and "futuristic" without batting an eye. Its aggressive guitar music thats "punk" in its DIY manic quality, but with an aesthetic thats much closer to the late 60s and early 70s. To my ears, Meercaz is one of the handful of things in recent years that matches what I think modern rock music SHOULD sound like (and rarely does)."  -Eddie Flowers.  Mastered for vinyl at the great Chicago Mastering Service, with a nice old school "tip-on" jacket, and insert w/ liner notes by Eddie Flowers." -Tic Tac Totally.

Artist: MEERCAZ
Title: Space Hate
Format: 12"
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $13.00
"MEERCAZ drops the Space Hate EP later this month on Tic Tac Totally. And it sounds likes its name implies. Much thicker, nastier, organic broth of severely unabashed proto-punk and spaced-out aesthetics that have me seeing Twinkeyz. Pushing up the great Stooge-mountain like some anti-gravity lava flow, drawing on some of Hawkwinds primordial elements as well. And what 70s-styled space rock stew is complete without a dash of Half-Machine Lip Moves-era Chrome? And like these examples its a grandiose little dose of solid material. And building well onto the first LPs foundation. Meercaz is constantly tinkering with the future, inventing their mental toy chest in these sounds while drawing on the true beasts of yesterday. Looking forward to big things. No diet music on this record. And watch your teeth! The shit is reasonably digestible, yes, but also quite chewy. Spread over 12 long inches for that sound sound." -Tic Tac Totally

Artist: SO COW
Title: Meaningless Friendly
Format: LP
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $14.00
"Super-duper-awaited new studio album from Tuam, Irelands SO COW. The passport was stamped and this fine new case of raw gems arrive at last. Power-pop with a dexterity to go epic at times, So Cow stretches mostly over Home Blitz territory and Gizmo-land. So Cows lyrical content goes from sweetly profound to quirky humor and hitting on the pop charms that make bands like the Television Personalities tick. These thirteen songs constantly glue spasms of noise to pop and it runs like a train of thought to the nut house for a romantic dinner with a phantom lady. This album gets stuck onto your brain and then melts a grilled cheese sandwich over it. There is no escape from So Cow." - Tic Tac Totally.

Artist: STATIC STATIC
Title: Psychic Eyes
Format: LP
Label: Tic Tac Totally
Country: USA
Price: $13.00
"Official release of the Psychic Eyes LP in case ya werent able to get one of the 200 hand-screened tour copies last year. Static Static combine live and electronic instruments and percussion in a way that produces a serious sounding, sharpened state of bright and hynotic electronic fuzz punk. Citing influences like Devo, Chrome, Electric Eels, Suicide you can gather an image pretty quickly. You probably know the deal by now with their string of EPs on 4:2:2, Hozac and more. Definitely a must have rocker with a reserved and serious no bullshit sound that shirks all the speculative bullshit for a straight ahead approach with no time for anything but good fucking songs." -Tic Tac Totally "Taking equal parts of VOLT and Spider and molding it into a whole new spectrum of sonance, Static Static have remained in the shadows long enough, and its time Los Angeles realized what a great resource they have lurking around in its dark corners." -Todd Killings VoT
