Artist: ASTRAL SOCIAL CLUB
Title: Skelp/Ginnel
Format: 7"/CDR
Label: Trensmat
Country: Ireland
Price: $10.00
"This 7" sees the Astral traveler moving into further realms and putting a capital C on club, with two tracks fuelled by deranged strobe rhythms. Frenetic fizzing beats are fused with searing slow-build drones of bowed strings & flickering synthesized riffs. The sounds are alive & glistening - rich reverberant like technicolor cascades underpinned by wonkey mesmerizing rhythms. An endless spaced out groove pouring out of the sound system on some alien dancefloor. The additional CD features some amazing remixes from Richard Youngs, John Clyde-Evans and Magnetize as well as the two tracks on the 7". VERY limited edition package of numbered coloured vinyl 7" and CD. In full colour wraparound picture sleeve."-Trensmat

Artist: SHINING PATH, THE
Title: Live at the Voltaire Commune
Format: 7"/CDR
Label: Trensmat
Country: Ireland
Price: $10.00
"The 7" contains two raw, noisy, ecstatic live recordings from some of the very rare live shows The Shining Path played in San Diego in 2007. Both tracks are raw and relentless ... a taste of what can happen when punks get psychedelic. A blown out krautrock, wild noise space rock frenzy, some baffling mix of Can, Hawkwind, High Rise and Suicide - melting minds and destroying speakers. The additional multimedia CD features the two 7" tracks along with another livetrack, Full Throttle Revolver, and exclusive live video footage of The Shining Path." - Trensmat

Artist: TELESCOPES, THE
Title: Night Terrors E.P
Format: 7"
Label: Trensmat
Country: UK
Price: $6.50
"The Telescopes have been pushing audio frontiers since 1988 releasing now regarded classics on Creation, Cheree and What Goes On. In 2002 after an eight year void they returned with the Third Wave LP on NYC label Double Agent. Their new sound is characterised by improvised free drone noise pieces, which have been released by Hungry Audio, Fourier Transform, Double Agent and reissues on Revola, Spaceage, Midsummer Madness and The Committee To Keep Music Evil prompting the NME to declare the genius of The Telescopes. They open proceedings for Trensmat with an E.P of free drone audio druidry. Side 1 contains the seven and a half minute AMM meets Suicide groove of DSM-1v axis 1: 307.46 - the DSM term for night terrors. Side 2 builds a brilliant and atmospheric subterranean world of drone and white noise using household objects - true metal machine music." - Trensmat.
