Artist: FUKAMACHI, JUN
Title: Nicole (86 Spring And Summer Collection - Instrumental Images)
Format: CD
Label: We Release...
Country: Switzerland
Price: $16.00
"WRWTFWW Records present the release of Jun Fukamachis highly coveted Nicole (86 Spring And Summer Collection - Instrumental Images) album, originally recorded in 1986 for celebrated fashion designer Mitsuhiro Matsudas Nicole clothing brand. Never officially available before, Nicole was only distributed as a limited promotional item offered to attendees and participants of the 1986 fashion show for the Nicole brands Spring and Summer collection. Fukamachis moody magnum opus has become a sort of holy grail for fans of Japanese ambient, jazz, and synth music alike --and rightly so. Meticulously conceived, smooth and subtle, Nicole sounds like it came from an ethereal land where Erik Satie and Art of Noise lived together, a sublimely cinematic listening experience perhaps best described by renowned Japanese music writer Masaharu Yoshioka, aka The Soul Searcher: "If you are driving down the Autobahn at 160 km/h, or even 80 km/h, and Juns music starts playing on the car stereo, the windshield will instantly turn into your own personal silver screen." Made in cooperation of the artists estate; Includes new liner notes by Masaharu Yoshioka. CD version comes in a digipak; Includes one bonus track, "Passion"." - WRWTFWW.

Artist: LEGRAND, MICHEL
Title: Qui Etes Vous Polly Maggoo? (Limited Edition)
Format: 7"
Label: We Release...
Country: Switzerland
Price: $33.00
"Ultra-limited (to 100 copies) reissue of Michel Legrands 1966 cult classic original soundtrack EP, with beautifully handmade and hand-folded original cover art -- a must-have! Includes two important, previously-unreleased-on-vinyl bonus tracks. A true time-capsule of the effulgence of the 60s, Qui êtes-vous, Polly Maggoo? (1966) is an arthouse movie spoofing the fashion world and its excesses. The movie developed cult status thanks to its gyrating scenario satirizing politics, fashion, the media, and more aspects of the mid-60s French society, and its detours into fantasy sequences and animated segments. In William Kleins movie, fashion often takes on a religious connotation, which is well underlined by Legrands superb soundtrack. Michel Legrand was behind the music of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968), Summer of 42 (1971), Yentl (1983), Never Say Never Again (1983 (Sean Connerys last Bond film)), and hundreds of other soundtracks, and has recorded with Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Charles Aznavour, James Ingram, Barbra Streisand, and Sarah Vaughan, to name a few." - We Release...

Artist: SPOERRI, BRUNO
Title: Voice Of Taurus
Format: LP
Label: We Release...
Country: Switzerland
Price: $26.00
"We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records present a reissue of the highly sought-after electronic/sci-fi disco/proto-techno/ambient masterpiece Voice Of Taurus by Swiss music pioneer and synth super wizard Bruno Spoerri, available on vinyl for the first time since its original release in 1978. Surrounded with a formidable family of legendary synthesizers, primitive modulators, and audio gear -- transformed and customized à la Spoerri --, armed with an extraordinary talent for improvisation, and deeply inspired by the likes of Wendy Carlos, Pierre Schaeffer, and the then freshly released Close Encounter of the Third Kind (1977), Bruno Spoerri envisioned Voice Of Taurus as "electronic pop conceived using an experimental and jazz approach". The result is an out-of-this-world sonic adventure where early techno sounds blend with synth-based sci-fi soundtrack vibes, krautrock explorations, and retro-futuristic disco madness. Its unique, catchy, cosmic, and meditative -- its a must have for all record collectors of the galaxy... welcome to Planet Spoerri. Still very active recording, touring, and collaborating (with Julian Sartorius, Franz Treichler of Young Gods, Marco Repetto of Grauzone, Roger Girod, to name a few), Bruno Spoerri is a multiple award-winning Swiss music icon, whose career started in the 1950s. His works spans jazz, electronic music, film, and TV work, and everything in between. Improvisational maestro and synthesizer mega-connoisseur, Mr. Spoerri has influenced an entire generation of producers and musicians -- even Jay-Z sampled him. Housed in a 350 gram jacket; Includes new liner notes." - We Release...

Title: The Sound Of The UFOs
Format: LP
Label: We Release...
Country: Switzerland
Price: $26.00
"We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records present a reissue of the extraterrestrial cult classic The Sound Of The UFOs, a collaborative effort between Swiss jazz and electronic music icon Bruno Spoerri and innovative drummer extraordinaire Reto Weber, available on vinyl for the first time since its original release in 1978. Recorded live in Zurich in March 1978, The Sound Of The UFOs finds Bruno and Reto improvising with a vast array of classic and customized synths and percussions from all corners of the globe (and the galaxy). Its cosmic free jazz in audio gear heaven with a heavy dose of ambient, krautrock, primitive proto-techno vibes, and experimental space disco with a musique concrète mentality -- anythings possible when a jazzman and a percussionist obsessed with finding new sounds collide and explore uncharted sonic territories. This groundbreaking gem is the ideal companion piece to Bruno Spoerris highly coveted Voice Of Taurus LP (WRWTFWW 015LP). Artist: UMILIANI AS MOGGI, PIERO
Title: Tra Scienza e Fantascienza
Format: LP
Label: We Release...
Country: Switzerland
Price: $27.00
"First vinyl reissue of a highly-sought after electronic abstract future jazz release by Italian soundtrack and library music composer Piero Umiliani, originally released on Umilianis label Omicron in 1980 under the pseudonym Moggi. Umilianis releases are generally expensive and hard to find, and Tra Scienza e Fantascienza is no exception. Umiliani was a master, gifted with a never-ending passion for music, and an experimental innovator who manipulated synthesizers with ease, forging a sound that could be reductively termed avant-garde. Timeless atmospheres and alien hypnotic sonorities that are modern and charmingly retro; minimal and complex; arranged with precision. Umiliani was way ahead of his time; hear, for instance, "Happy Accompaniment": it sounds like a 2015 minimal house track." - We Release Whatever the Fuck We Want.
