Title: Hits Internacionales
Format: LP
Label: CSM
Country: Mexico
Price: $20.00
"Originally released in 1969, this Mexican graphic artist and counter culture hero unleashed an unhinged burst of psychotic fuzz, a true slice of demented garage psych that could have only been made in those lost days, with improbable remakes of "Sookie Sookie," "Dont Let Me Be Misunderstood," "Shes a Woman," "St. James Infirmary" and more.  On its face, the musical contents should be mediocre, but its just too crude and weird to be anything but the proverbial head-turner in any record store that plays it.  The cover art is reminiscent of the Mexican band KALEIDOSCOPEs legendary Orfeon label LP, and indeed, it was Bodo Molitor who drew the crazy, freaked-out cover for that $7000 rarity, along with the similarly sought after LA LIBRE EXPRESSION album.  One glance at this sleeve and youll know its true.  Original copies fetch close to $1000 on the collectors market.  This official reissue comes with the original full color artwork and a color glossy liner note insert in Spanish and English." - Orfeon

Title: Hits Internacionales
Format: LP + 7"
Label: Shadoks
Country: Germany
Price: $48.00
"Along with Kaleidoscope and Los Ovnis, this is the rarest of all Mexican psychedelic albums. Bodo Molitor recorded this album for Orfeon records, Mexico, as label mates of Kaleidoscope. Bodo created the famous cover for Kaleidoscope and several other covers for this album. Hits Internacionales was recorded in 1968 and released in 1969. Bodo was born in Germany and traveled all over the world playing music. Included here are cover versions, some of his own compositions, and an extra 4-track EP of amazing, unheard tracks. An ultra-rare original of this late 60s Mexican garage psych album is a Holy Grail for collectors, in the same league with Mexicos Kaleidoscope. After this release, Bodo left Mexico to travel the world playing with great musicians. He now lives and plays music in Cairo, Egypt, rocking the center of the Islamic world. 500 numbered/heavy sleeve/insert/180 gram pressing; the bonus 7" is on red vinyl." -Shadoks
