Artist: FAT WORM OF ERROR
Title: Pregnant Babies Pregnant with Pregnant Babies
Format: LP
Label: Load
Country: USA
Price: $12.00
"Iron Valleys bedazzled bunch spring forth with a stunner of a record that drones, moans, chortles and squeaks in completely unexpected ways. Beefheart-soaked and strangulated guitar tactics, double mutter drumming, and bass all collide in uncharted territory with hysterical vocal yelps to make this record advance to the head of the class in your record pile.Think of this band in the unlikely company of the real R n R Hall of Famers like Half Japanese, Thinking Fellers Local 182, and Arab On Radar. Load Records is insisting you listen to this record as it features instrumental diversity with horns, synths, basses, guitars, and all manners of percussion. The songs on this record are not all storm and flash as there are moments of quiet beauty, like a candy bar found in a pair of pants not worn for months. A truly refreshing listen, its got spasm and moan." - Load. CD also available.

Title: Broods
Format: LP
Label: Open Mouth
Country: USA
Price: $17.00
Co-release w/ Ecstatic Peace. "Maybe its something in the raw cows milk one can so fortuitously procure here in Western Massachusetts, or maybe its that lysergic haze of Berkshire foothill emanation, but whatever it may be, it is most definitely in manifestation as the five-headed rock n noise n bleet n zzrrp n roll n weirdcore phenomenon known only as FAT WORM OF ERROR. After more than six years of live gig decimation and confusion and a smattering of cassettes, cdrs, legit LP releases (on labels as swank as LOAD and Ultra Eczema), FWOE has become, along with Noise Nomads and Dinosaur Jr, as one of the most astounding musical whatsis factors in the Pioneer Valley. It was after being stunned into melted delight one evening at our local hang (the Flywheel natch) by the dead battery guitar, silent psycho-killer bass, drums punked beyond the free thump joy of John Stevens n Drumbo, and the supremely swinging costume-cuhraziness of the FREEKwency singerwell, we wanted to do a, ahem, proper LP. Put this genius fringe into the studio with Justin Pizzoferrato (thats right, the guy who helps engineer J Mascis and T Moore sides) and capture the delirious magic of FWOE in their inimitable prime. And we did! And Mark Beyer did the cover art! And the drummers name is Neil Young! And this LP rules HARD, and if you happened to be in the same room as the live FWOE this last summer than you know: Fat Worm of Error has got the coolest moustache in town. Case closed." - Open Mouth.

"the most spastic band of this very moment on this gross planet is definatly the north-or east (whatever) hampton based no wave fartband FAT WORM OF ERROR, someone is fingerfucking a drumkit while a guitar gets raped by a pink elephant, the synth dances to fucked up tape rewinds, the bassplayer rolls on the floor in his own neon yellow poopoo and the singers throat gets squizzed non stop by a huge bouncer dressed in self made residents styled eye ball costumes. these druids change costumes with every song on their scary live shows while 567 different sounds pop out of 456 instruments, they have moustages that are bigger then anyones hairsausage in the antwerpse snorrenclub, and play actually very tight songs! it doesnt sound like they are just nuts, i mean they are nuts, but they also make "tight noise", they stop and start at the same time, like ARAB ON RADAR meets THE RESIDENTS meets DEVO meets BRIAN RURYK meets STEVEN STAPLETON meets LIGHTNING BOLT meets etc.. and at the same time sounding like none of these.. some of these people played in DEERHOOF and CAROLINER and some of these still do a million different side projects such as the great YEAY records label, BROMP TREB (a harch noise hip hop outfit) etc.. FAT WORM OF ERROR will also have a full lp out on providence based black metal label LOAD RECORDS!! this 7" comes in an oversized cutout stencilprinted cover design by dennis tyfus." - Ultra Eczema.

"FWOEs self released debut single - messy, twitchy wrecks in effects... "...the racket moves in a lot of directions at once. Theres definitely a goofy overlay to some of the moves displayed here, but none of them are crappy or pro forma. Their weirdness is as original as cud.  Woozy, too. I mean, youll swoon its so woozy at times." - Byron Coley, WIRE 236 Oct 2003." Silkscreeened cover.

Title: Summer Mixtape 200
Format: Cass
Label: Yeay!

Price: $5.00
"a kinky continuous loop of this band in their most defribulated and deconstructed - a few songs & a wealth of treatments of 4 track fragments, digital scrubbery, tape collage, & eeew! improvisation. totally gay package is hand spray-painted in their infamous paranoid googly-eyed motif.  "Music streams along, a song here and there, and lots of slurpage and bleepage. Gleeping electronics get hi-jacked by exploding clusters that are sometimes identifiable as guitar, bass, and drums. Vocalist knows better than to overdo it or try to keep up, so (s)he just kind of cuckoos every now and then, and does it well. Absolutely whacked song structures; they work hard on this." - Fuzz-O Dolman, Blastitude 16. spraypainted case /photocopy insert." - Yeay!
