Title: Shadow Disco
Format: 12"
Label: 100% Silk
Country: USA
Price: $13.00
""Innergaze your innerself -- its a Rorshark shock of broken dreams and disco balls, cracked make-up mirrors for lipstick stains and smears, and sugary sweet Tom Collins highballs to spill and then slip on. Innergaze makes dance music to stumble around to, at 3 a.m., when the dry ice is dried out and you cant find your fur coat. Theres taking candy from a baby and then theres taking candy-colored cocktails from a stranger whos dosed you with Innergazes bump and fuzz and slo-mo vo-cos. For writhing on a cold white leather couch in the air-conditioned club. Or for wearin white leather and gettin way laced. For Brooklyn Babes and Waldorf Astoria Queens and Bushwick Billionaires. Bubbles and trance for the Bridge and Tunnel set. Based on a lifetime of nighttimes, the syrup n synth soundstage for romance, tragedy, and a few glassy-eyed, glossy-maged dream sequins. Strictly ballroom, strictly Freudian, and strictly speaking from the Innergaze Shadow Disco: Are you my mother, lover?"" -100% Silk

Title: Mutual Dreaming
Format: LP
Label: Cititrax
Country: USA
Price: $20.00
"Our sublabel Cititrax, is proud to present new music from Brooklyn based synth duo Innergaze. Their second LP, “Mutual Dreaming” is a highly anticipated release and were ecstatic that the vinyl is finally out. “Innergaze drag us slightly further back into the glorious cradle of dance music. Their music, crushed and static, obscured by sound. EBM, coldwave, early techno fight it out for dominance of the drum machine. Casually brutal vocals force their way through from the Death Factory. As if Chris & Coseys dalliances with the Eurythmics had conjured a restless pioneering demon to duet with Annie Lenox but had instead ended up consuming her. Celestial synths coexisting with the industrial landscape bellow.” -20 Jazz Funk Greats. “Innergaze is the musical project of Aurora Halal and Jason Letkiewicz – Letkiewicz is known for his work with or as Manhunter, Steve Summers and Rhythm Based Lovers; Halal a video editor and director. Its pretty clear that Innergaze is a wholly collaborative effort, as Letkiewiczs penchant for pulsing beats and organic house mingles with the hazy, psychedelic new-age atmospheres that shine through Halals video work, together creating something that could loosely fall under the ‘minimal synth tag. Dont expect some sort of easily placeable sound, though – Innergaze has far more personality than your average electro duo, relying on intuition, emotion and a good jam session to create their music, not a rigid set of pre-determined parameters. Together, its like a robot coated in human flesh, sentient yet vaguely artificial, and like most cyborgs portrayed on TV, quite beautiful. Im pretty sure they are in love, too, which is an interesting dynamic for a sound that often relies on aesthetic impassiveness.” - YellowGreenRed. The “Mutual Dreaming” LP is a limited pressing of 999 copies on 160 gram vinyl, housed in a high quality full color printed sleeve featuring a collaborative artwork concept by Veronica Vasicka and Aurora Halal." -Cititrax.
