Year 2000 release, repressed. Gatefold jacket, clear vinyl, edition of 300. "Die Stadt is very pleased to announce the release of a long time project, an LP by Carl Michael von Hausswolff. C.M. von Hausswolff is a prolific sound composer for almost 20 years now who lives and works in Stockholm/Sweden. He was the founder of now defunct Swedish label Radium and still is one of the two Kings of Elgaland-Vargaland (together with fellow artist Leif Elggren). His works (also under the name PHAUSS in his early years) have been released on labels such as Touch, Sub Rosa, Fire, Table of the Elements/Edition. The entire piece on this vinyl only released is dedicated to the research of Friedrich Jürgenson a Swedish artist and researcher who recorded The Voices Of The Dead from the radio with his tape recorder (for further information on his works you may consult the CD From The Studio Of Audioscopic Research on Ash. "R. Buckminster Fullers voice on track one sampled from The Critical Path - Spirit of Health, recorded October 1982 in Maui, Hawaii (Dolphin Tapes, Big Sur, California). Track two is taken from the exhibition Red Code (CCA, Kitakyushu, 2001) and was recorded by Scott Olson and myself. A version of track four was also used in the exhibition 3D+ (Bruxelles, Berlin, Dublin etc., 2001 - 2002). Track seven is an earlier version of a designed sound used in Jesus_C_Odd_Size, a play by Hotel ProForma, Malm�??, 2000.
