INNERGAZE - Mutual Dreaming

Our sublabel Cititrax, is proud to present new music from Brooklyn based synth duo Innergaze. Their second LP, _¢‚Ǩ_ìMutual Dreaming_¢‚Ǩ¬ù is a highly anticipated release and were ecstatic that the vinyl is finally out.\r\n_¢‚Ǩ_ìInnergaze drag us slightly further back into the glorious cradle of dance music. Their music, crushed and static, obscured by sound. EBM, coldwave, early techno fight it out for dominance of the drum machine. Casually brutal vocals force their way through from the Death Factory. As if Chris & Coseys dalliances with the Eurythmics had conjured a restless pioneering demon to duet with Annie Lenox but had instead ended up consuming her. Celestial synths coexisting with the industrial landscape bellow._¢‚Ǩ¬ù -20 Jazz Funk Greats.\r\n_¢‚Ǩ_ìInnergaze is the musical project of Aurora Halal and Jason Letkiewicz _¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Letkiewicz is known for his work with or as Manhunter, Steve Summers and Rhythm Based Lovers; Halal a video editor and director. Its pretty clear that Innergaze is a wholly collaborative effort, as Letkiewiczs penchant for pulsing beats and organic house mingles with the hazy, psychedelic new-age atmospheres that shine through Halals video work, together creating something that could loosely fall under the _¢‚ǨÀúminimal synth tag. Dont expect some sort of easily placeable sound, though _¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Innergaze has far more personality than your average electro duo, relying on intuition, emotion and a good jam session to create their music, not a rigid set of pre-determined parameters. Together, its like a robot coated in human flesh, sentient yet vaguely artificial, and like most cyborgs portrayed on TV, quite beautiful. Im pretty sure they are in love, too, which is an interesting dynamic for a sound that often relies on aesthetic impassiveness._¢‚Ǩ¬ù - YellowGreenRed.\r\nThe _¢‚Ǩ_ìMutual Dreaming_¢‚Ǩ¬ù LP is a limited pressing of 999 copies on 160 gram vinyl, housed in a high quality full color printed sleeve featuring a collaborative artwork concept by Veronica Vasicka and Aurora Halal. -Cititrax.

After nearly a decade of false starts, multiple game plans veering off the rails, and a handful of shattered hopes and/or dreams, the odyssey is finally complete—the new Fusetron site is here.

This is the first phase of a multipart rollout that will span the next few months: the currently browsable stock includes miscellaneous new releases from the past 8+ months (we have a lot of catching up to do), plus approximately a third of our backstock. Note that we’ve reduced/slashed prices on many titles and will continue to do so in order to make room for new stock. We’ll also be expanding / tweaking / improving / debugging the site itself (for example, we still have work to do on the automated international postage system, not to mention the inevitable inventory discrepancies that come with transferring an ancient and massive database to a new system).

Over the next few months, as we take inventory, clean house, and delve into our storage, we will be uploading thousands of additional items, gradually, on a near-daily basis. This will include the majority of the LPs, as well as many titles, in all formats, once thought long-gone. Many currently “sold out” items are likely to resurface.

Finally, once our general backstock is up (probably in the next two or three months) we’ll begin making our extensive stockpile of rarities available online for the first time: tons of random out-of-print titles, "deadstock," warehouse finds, secondhand collectibles, etc., accumulated over the past few decades.

Frequent/returning customers will be getting early access to these items. Details to follow on how this will work (a priority mailing list? a 'frequent flyer'-like program?), but it will not be based on dollars spent. We want to reward those who consistently support us, especially in the discogs marketplace era (to those who show up trying to poach five copies of a one-off rarity, and nothing else, ever… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ).

So—we suggest you take some time to dig through the site—even we’ve been surprised by what’s been turning up, and there’s much more to come.
