Fledgling Records are very proud to announce the release of a powerful collection of historic recordings from Shirley & Dolly Collins. The recordings of Shirley Collins hold a pivotal place in the English folk song revival of the 1960s and 70s. Through an impressive handful of remarkable LPs - Folk Roots, New Routes; Anthems in Eden; Love, Death and the Lady; No Roses and For As Many As Will, Shirley always married a deep love of the songs handed down by rural labouring people with beautiful contemporary arrangements. Those recorded with Dolly Collins are especially treasured.
