-Hands- is the first release from ecstatic slow-jazz sensation hurray. Hurray is Zak Prekop, Pete Mandradjieff & Rich Aldrich It was recorded in Chinatown in 2002 & 2003 with Mitch Rackin. The instrumentation is electric piano, guitar and drums. Hurray was once described as jazz by nervous and distracted children". In both songs the piano acts as the structural background upon which the guitar reacts. Sometimes the guitar plays counter melodies and sometimes it is just\r\nbleeping and creaking away. The drums come in here and there to accent and add direction. On the second side, at the end, all three parts finally coalesce into a minor finale. -Hands- was done in an edition of 300, each cover is hand made and the records are white vinyl." - Skul.
