In all, ten musicians contribute to this album, which took almost two years to complete! A 21st century album recorded on modern equipment and with multiple musicians is a departure from anything I ever recorded. The material chosen spans from the late 60s, such as Cathys Song, to topical and lyrics reflecting my more recent life. At the concert someone asked me if it was a lot like my earlier work. When I hesitated, he realized it wasnt. But, "Diamond Love" didnt resemble "Am I Really Here All Alone" either. What would be the purpose of doing that?
