By Daryl Worthington ; Magic Tuber Stringband : Durham, North Carolina based duo Evan Morgan and Courteney Werner formed Magic Tuber Stringband to combine Appalachian folk song-form with contemporary experimentalism. Their new album Heavy Water will be out on Thrill Jockey this May."
