YOUTH OF THE BEAST - White Cat

I imagine these songs supporting some kind of home brewed cult flow to the\r\nnetherworlds in the back yard. Perfectly minimal and surprisingly thick at\r\ntimes this 30 min. cassette by Andy Spore of Raccoo-oo-oon gathers six tracks\r\nof mixer feeback, sonic scrawl, mic hiss, syth wash, and blasted drum tones.\r\nThe vocals, percusion, and use of lo fi recording techniques create for a\r\ndynamic and interesting listen throughout, with some melody and beauty seeping\r\nto the surface here and there. Reminds me of later recording Sightings and 3rd\r\nAnnual Report style T.G. inspired by folkways compilations. Maybe this is just\r\nthe sound of revenge running through Jo Mizunos head, in any regard Andy\r\nwas doing some thinking when me made this one as it comes off sounding\r\nconsidered and to the point. - Nightpeople.
