Early in the Summer of 06, Clay Rubys Zodiac Mountain did a short\r\nU.S. tour, showering the people with roots rock, heavenly boogie,\r\natmospheric spirituals, cryptic blues and the occasional classic cover\r\ntune. This incarnation of Zodiac Mountain was a collaboration between\r\nClay Ruby and Wooden Wand, featuring jams with Nate Nelson (Mouthus,\r\nReligious Knives), Robert Beatty (Eyes and Arms of Smoke, Hair Police),\r\nand Maya Miller (Religious Knives, Double Leopards). 5 songs, over an\r\nhour of red, white and blue BLISS from two of the heaviest, gun toting,\r\nbourbon soaked, BBQ breathd road warriors east of the Mississippi.\r\nThis material is a far departure from the intense heathen rituals and bleak folk\r\nsongs of Zodiac Mountains Lake Winnebago" demos, and nothing like the\r\nnewest Zodiac Mountain recording project in progress, which is wrapping itself\r\nup like some kinda amphibious Crash Worship services.\r\nAlso, it should be noted that this is not the same band as the ZODIACS (the heavy\r\nrock band with forthcoming CD on Holy Mountain), although it is rumored that\r\nboth bands feature many of the same members." - 23 Productions.
